Matterhorn
One of the most beautiful and most photographed mountains in the Alps, the summit is 4,478 meters above sea level, and we normally climb the Hörnli ridge from Zermatt. If you have climbed other Alpine peaks before and want a real challenge, this might be the next step.
Program:
Day 1: Lift up to Klein Matterhorn, climb Breithorn, and review equipment and exercises if anything needs to be adjusted before the summit days.
Day 2: We take the lift partway up the mountain, then hike up to Hörnlihyttan.
Day 3: Early breakfast and departure 20 minutes later at 3:50 a.m. The climb to the summit is a strenuous effort that takes 4-6 hours, with the descent taking about the same amount of time.
The weekly program above is a suggestion if you have done acclimatization days on your own. If you also want to do them with a mountain guide and nice climbing tours, it is normal to add another 3 days.
Price: SEK 20,000 per person plus SEK 16,000 for the acclimatization days (SEK 8,000 per person if there are two of you on the acclimatization trip).
The price includes: Mountain guide, guide's expenses, and safety equipment.
